For the 440Hz signal using the Ananlystical pads are closer to the target level. The DT1770 is a bit more ‘impressive’ in the lows and sub-lows. The bigger the deviation the stronger the effect. Aside from a small correction of the microphone itself also some correction in the lowest frequencies is applied to the plots to compensate for the perceived loss of bass when using headphones. The Beyerdynamic DT 1770 PRO are basically the closed-back version of the DT 1990 PRO and a more high-end pair of headphones than the DT 770. The headphones don't collapse or fold down, so the case is rather large, but it also houses the two cables and extra earpads.
